Cindy Smith

Originally from Connecticut, she moved to Southwest Harbor in 2000, following a visit to Southwest Harbor with her two daughters. "We couldn't help but fall in love with the beauty of the island of Mount Desert and the people that live here," she said. As a self-taught artist she is continually learning the process through experimentation and looking into new ways to create images. She recently began experimenting with color in addition to the pen & ink. She most enjoys creating images of Maine, especially on Mount Desert Island.
